Samsung Galaxy S8 is one of the most anticipated upcoming flagship smartphones across the globe, especially after the debacle of the Galaxy Note 7. Several rumours about the phone has already available on the internet including 2 screen sizes – 5-inch (Samsung Galaxy S8) and 6-inch (Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus).
According to the latest rumour about the upcoming phone, Samsung Galaxy S8 will get a massive 8GB of RAM, producing using the 10nm process. Earlier, it was rumoured to get a 6GB of RAM found in the Galaxy Note 7. This information has been spotted on Weibo. In addition, Samsung Galaxy S8 could get a UFS 2.1 flash storage.
Like every year, Samsung flagship smartphone is expected NOT to be announced at MWC in Feb. But in 2017, it will be unveiled at an event in New York in April.
Samsung Galaxy S8 could sport a pressure-sensitive display
After the debacle of the Galaxy Note 7, Samsung is gearing with each passing day to bring the best smartphone in 2017 with the Galaxy S8. Several rumours have already popped up in the recent past including bigger display sizes (6.2-inch), no Edge variant. Now, the latest feature of the phone is rumoured online. According some sources, Samsung is considering adding a pressure sensitive display on the Galaxy S8. Such display technology is already present in phones like iPhone, Vivo, Huawei and others.
Samsung supplies force touch displays to other manufacturers. Chances of its usage in the upcoming phone from the company are high. Pressure sensitive displays are not fully utilised yet. This could also lead Samsung in dilemma to use such displays.
Samsung is constantly working on this technology for better and optimum usage. No official confirmation from the company has been shared so far. This is all rumours about the Galaxy S8. In the coming weeks, more and more concrete information about the phone will surface. Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to get unveiled by the end of February 2017.
Samsung Galaxy S8 to sport dual rear camera, non-clicky home button
Last quarter of 2016 has begun and talks about next year’s Samsung flagship smartphone have started. Samsung Galaxy S8 is rumoured to get a new overhaul this time. The phone is expected to take a step forward in terms of design and specifications.
As per the recent development regarding the Galaxy S8, the phone is rumoured to have NO clickable home button. This change has been adopted by Apple this year with iPhone 7. Samsung is also following the step. A more responsive fingerprint sensor is also expected.
Another big change is its camera. Now, Samsung will also sport a dual camera set up in the upcoming Galaxy S8. No more information about the camera has been disclosed. But a 12 MP resolution along with an 8 MP camera unit could be added.
The all new Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 830 chipset may get fitted in the phone for better efficiency and seamless performance. The phone, like every year, will be announced or showcased by the end of February or Mid March. As per recent stories, Samsung Galaxy S8 will most probably unveiled at MWC 2017, which is to be held on February 28.
